My journey at Mitsubishi Electric
I was already able to complete the practical phase of my studies in Technical Building Equipment at Living Environment Systems and subsequently gained further experience as a student assistant. After graduating, I initially worked in product marketing for several years. Since 2017, I have been working as a Sales Engineer for Air Conditioning Technology in the field.
Work-life balance
I am a mother of a young daughter and still able to manage a full-time job in field sales. Anyone with children knows that you always have to be ready at a moment’s notice. Thanks to flexible working hours and mobile working – and of course a reliable daycare spot and the strong support of my husband – I have always been able to find a solution, even in challenging situations.
My daily work routine
I support refrigeration specialists with regard to our air conditioning products and serve as the primary contact for my customers. My daily tasks include market observation, new customer acquisition, networking, attending conferences and trade fairs, as well as customer events. I spend a lot of time on the road and on the phone. In addition, I work closely with the internal sales team. These colleagues are incredibly important – without them, I wouldn’t be able to do my job as effectively.
